Me
[edit]I am a sensitive soul seeking kindred spirits. I thirst for knowledge, and stand for truth. I must be very interested in computers, because I start all these crazy things. I have a blog [1], and an art page [2], and now I'm a Wikipedian! This is fun.
I became a Wikipedian when I was given a media assignment (almost a year ago) to post an article on the free encyclopedia. Unfortunately, I have not been active since! But something tells me that I soon will be (Although that means I am going to have to relearn all this html or not-so-html or whatever it is.)That shouldn't be too hard.
More about me
[edit]I am young, obsessive, and passionnate about learning (you might call me a geek, but if you're a Wikipedian--which I assume you are--I am sorry to say that you must also qualify for that title.;) Right now I'm trying to figure out what exactly is my place in life. My interests include, but are not limited to: art of all kinds (I draw and paint, write poetry, and am learning guitar), chess (I'm dumb enough to think I will one day become a master), computers (as in, I don't understand them, but am trying to figure them out... I plan to study Java in the very near future...and should probably be doing it right now), Soccer and Kung-Fu (I wish I could say I was a star athlete but, let's face it, that would be an outright lie).
Here is my philosophy (It will probably expand and develop as the years go on, but hey, I'm still just a kid):
ART = LOVE = GOD
UNIVERSE = MAGIC = THE MERCY OF GOD
MATHEMATICS = THE LANGUAGE OF GOD
ATHEISM = ARROGANCE = CLOSED-MINDEDNESS (Oh, I know there is going to be a big outrage on this one, but hey, it's my page and on it I have the freedom to speak my mind, right? Say what you want to me, I am open to argument.)
UNQUESTIONING FAITH WITHOUT REASON = IGNORANCE (which is not appreciated by God) UNBIASED PURSUIT OF KNOWLEDGE = HUMANITY'S PURPOSE
FREEDOM OF CHOICE = GOD'S GREATEST GIFT (but includes the ability to choose the path of evil, the existence of which has somehow been misunderstood by some as the inexistence of our merciful creator, but is merely our disobedience of him, and therefore should not have been given us; i.e. we should have, like the animals, been confined to following instincts, so that we would not veer and become lost, as we so unfortunately have. (Oddly enough, God seems to think otherwise. Have we abused His trust?)
