Hello and welcome!! My name is Max Fagnant. I'm currently a second semester student at Berklee College of Music. I plan to major in Contemporary Writing and Production to pursue a career in songwriting and composition. For the rest of the 2018 spring semester I will be using this page to propose and develop an idea relating to the future of music. I am a new user to wikipedia so pointers and tips would be greatly appreciated.

The idea that I have chosen for my project is: "The Rebirth of Jazz in Modern Rock". Three main sub-genres of rock will be introduced and dissected to show the elements of Jazz they hold. Chords/Harmony, song structure, and irregular beat patterns will be discussed, along with links to listen to examples. Since this topic is not heavily discussed, sources will be limited. The song examples should suffice as credible sources.
