Mufti Abdul Wahab Chachar (born 1942) is a notable politician, scholar and writer of more than 30 books. He also runs a famous and historical monthly magazine "Shariat" from Sukkur since 1973.His stance on the national problems of Sindh is onerous and his fatwas are the most acceptable judgements in Sindh, which makes him " Faqeeh ul Sindh" He was born on March 26, 1942, in Village Kundi Chacher, District Ghotki. He went to Madersah Qaim-ul-Uloom Ghotki and Madersah Madinat-ul-Uloom Panu Aqil for his education. After finishing his studies, he served as a teacher and a Mufti in different Maderssahs (religious schools).

In 1973, he started a publishing company called Shareeat Publication and began a monthly magazine called Shareeat.Its between more than fifty years now and this magazine has never failed it's audience Mufti Abdul Wahab Chacher wrote more than 15 books in different languages such as Sindhi, Urdu, Persian, and Arabic. He also wrote many articles for newspapers. Mufti Abdul wahab Chachar also laid the foundation of madarsa al jamia Arabia Darul uloom shariah in 1981. This religious institution has produces thousands of brilliant students serving all over the Pakistan. He has also been active politically thought his life.he has spoken for human rights and in favour of common people by providing Islamic reasoning
