Mohammed Rashaad Varsala Faiyaz (Urdu:محمد دشاد ورسلا فياض ; born 22 November, 1990) also known as "Mohammed Rashaad" or "Rashaad" is an Indian Computer Engineer, currently signed to Capgemini. Rashaad is best known for his time at Hewlett-Packard, where he worked as a System Engineer. Rashaad is also best known as one of the prominent member of Internet Wrestling Community. After completing his Engineering in Information technology at a private college in Chennai, Rashaad moved to Bangalore to pursue a career in his field where he is currently working as a System Engineer at IGATE, which was acquired by Capgemini.

Personal life

Mohammed Rashaad was born in Ambur, Tamil Nadu, India. His father Faiyaz Ahmed Varsala is a Leather Businessman. Rashaad has 3 younger brothers Sadeed, Sharique and Salman. Rashaad is an Urdu Muslim and fluently speaks English, Urdu, Hindi, Tamil and Arabic. Apart from pro wrestling and cricket, Rashaad also is a big fan of PlayStation and music. Rashaad spends most of his time during holidays either listening to music or playing PlayStation games.

Rashaad has stated that Backstreet Boys, Eminem, Justin Timberlake, Nickelback, Lady Antebellum, Brantley Gilbert and Ellie Goulding are some of his favorite artists and bands. He prefers Hollywood movies over Bollywood and has mentioned that he is a fan of Mark Ruffalo, Liam Neeson and Dwayne Johnson.Rashaad also watches and plays Football. He is a big fan of the football clubs Manchester United, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Indian Super League teams Atlético de Kolkata and Chennaiyin FC.

Rashaad suffers from Hypermobility, Acrophobia, Agoraphobia and is afraid of ships.

Education

After studying in various schools in Ambur and also a school in Bangalore, Rashaad joined Mazharul Uloom Higher Secondary School in Ambur for his higher secondary education in the year 2006. Rashaad has also stated that he was one of the several lucky students in Ambur who got a chance to meet Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam in the year 2006, the then President of India. After completing his schoolings, he joined PMR Institue of Technology, Chennai to do his degree of Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology in 2008. He got his college transfer to Mohamed Sathak A.J. College of Engineering, Chennai. On 6th of July, 2013, Rashaad was awarded with the Degree of Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology.

Career

HGSL (2013-2014)

Rashaad was hired by Dell, Bangalore as a System Administrator in April, 2013. Due to personal issues, he had to quit the company. Shortly after that, he was hired by HGS International Services, Bangalore as a Support Engineer for Sony USA as Wade Watson.

Hewlett-Packard (2014-2015)

In August 2014, Rashaad announced on his Facebook page that he has been employed by Hewlett-Packard (HP). Rashaad had actually signed a 1 year contract with the company where he worked as a System Engineer. However Rashaad had asked for his release from his contract and was released on 28th June, 2015.

Capgemini (2015-Present)

On April 28, 2015, while under contract with HP, Rashaad announced his signing with the American IT company IGATE and announced that they had agreed on a deal where he will be employed by IGATE directly, working as a Senior Systems Engineer. On 29th June, 2015, just a day after his release from HP, Rashaad joined IGATE.

Internet Wrestling Community

Mohammed Rashaad has shown a great interest in Professional wrestling and is considered to be one of the prominent member of Internet wrestling community, the community of users (some of them smarks) on web-based message boards and forums that discusses pro wrestling. He is always found making discussions in the wrestling pages and articles in several websites. Rashaad has also had multiple direct conversations with several wrestlers online. Few of the names include wrestling legend Bret Hart, former WWE Intercontinental Champion Zack Ryder, ECW Original Rob Van Dam,WWE Hall of Famers Mick Foley and Kevin Nash, TNA Wrestling and Global Force Wrestling founder Jeff Jarrett and former Miss USA and WWE talent, Rima Fakih. Rashaad has also written several wrestling-related Storyline and has published them on the Internet. He was also one of the few lucky fans, whose questions for Bret Hart were asked and published on wrestlenewz.com[1] and several other wrestling news sites in the year 2012. Rashaad is also friends with Indian TNA wrestler Mahabali Shera. One important Rashaad's discussion with professional wrestling personality includes, his discussion about WWE's plans for India with the former WWE announcer and WWE hall of famer Jim Ross.[2]

Cricket

Rashaad is a constant follower of Cricket, a major sport in his country. He has showed his support to Chennai Super Kings, a cricket team that represents Chennai, the capital city of his home state Tamil Nadu, in the Indian Premier League since the inaugural season in 2008. Rashaad also watches Big Bash League (BBL), a similar Twenty20 cricket league held in Australia and has stated Sydney Sixers as his favourite BBL team. Apart from watching, Rashaad also plays cricket regularly when in his hometown during the weekends. Rashaad is also famous for hitting the "Slip Shot", a type of Upper Cut.
