Eddsworld is a British comedy action 2D animated web series created by Edd Gould. The show follows 3 people[a] - Edd, Tom and Matt - going on adventures and getting into hijinks.[1]
The show has been uploaded to various websites, such as Newgrounds, YouTube and SheezyArt.[1]
Eddsworld created a short called Climate Change which was featured at the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference.[2][3]
After Gould's death, production was led by Thomas Ridgewell under the name Eddsworld: Legacy and was crowd funded by fans. Ridgewall left production in 2016 after the release of The End,[4] and later episodes are handed under Matthew Hargreaves, labelled under Eddsworld: Beyond.[5]
As of 13 October 2024[update], the Eddsworld YouTube channel has over 4 million subscribers and over 900 million views.[6] Eddsworld has over 40 thousand followers on Newgrounds.[7]
