The evolution of Recruiting

[edit]

Traditional recruiting has typically taken place over the following channels - newspaper and other printed ads - career fairs and events - school career centers - printed promotional materials

All these channels are still very important, and recently they have been augmented with a couple of other new channels such as agency career portals and internet job boards

What is Web 2.0

[edit]

Web 2.0 is a trend in the use of World Wide Web technology and web design that aims to facilitate creativity, information sharing, and, most notably, collaboration among users. With these advanced capacities, a second generation of web-based communities and hosted services, such as social-networking sites, wikis, blogs, and folksonomies, are evolving.
