Involved in Speech Recognition since 1994. An IBM employee suggested I apply as an IBM Business Partner for their soon to be released IBM Personal Dictation System. Since then I have been consulting with and installing speech recognition systems.
In 2006 I was invited to Redmond by the Microsoft speech recognition workgroup. Their soon to be relaeased WSR, Windows Speech Recognition, was previewed and my input was asked for. It was suggested that features could be added to WSR to enhance its usability. This led to the development of the WSRToolkit, released in 2008 by my company, eMicrophones, Inc. The program was updated and WSRToolkit version 2 released in 2010.
The WSRToolkit adds many useful features to WSR. These include accuracy tuning and improvement as well as productivity enhancements like the Macro Creation Wizard.
