• Teaching As a Profession*

Teaching profession as turn to a profession that the nation doesn't have regard for which is totally bad. The teaching profession which suppose be the most best profession in the nation are now messed, embarrassed, cheated and not been loyal to by the nation. It's sounds very embarrassing to me when you ask people their profession and they always feel shy and not boldly enough to say they are teachers rather they end up saying they are managing teaching work. *What's happening? Where are we heading to? What's the cause?* All this questions needs to be provided answer for. When we talk about *salaries and wages* in this country, several professions are well paid but teaching profession is excluded rather they still toy with their little salary they paid to them. *Am ashamed of this country not providing solution to this problem, ashamed of this country toying with rights of the teachers, ashamed of this country not one day considering the teaching profession but to cause damage to them, ashamed of this country not giving those in the profession to comes out boldly and be proud of their profession,* this is so embarrassing.

Have we forgotten that before anyone can become better in life you must past through a teacher, they are our parents when we are in school, they care for us, they correct our errors but yet never appreciate them of their works done. All we use to shout is that it will soon be better but never know the exact time when it will be better. Many teachers lost their life all because of the country situation on the way they play with their salaries, frustrations without been compensated, retirement without immediate pension and gratuity. How can we receive mercy from God when the right peoples are been cheated on, when they are not recognize, when they are not compensated of their work done, no appraisal for the teachers which is really bad.

Let's talk of those who are in teaching line in which they don't have the qualification of teaching but given the job because of the rate in which teaching as been disrespected in this country. My question is that *"can someone with teaching qualification manage to work in other professions?"* this question needs to be provided with reasonable answer.

I want to urge the government to look into this matter of teaching profession so that those in the field will be proud of their profession and to make teaching as an hot cake in the country so those in the field will be happy and forget the past.
