Hi. I am Matthew Mellon. I have been a Wikipedian since June, 2005, and I am just dabbling around.

This user is a Roman Catholic Christian.

A few of my notable contributions:

  • John G. Roberts, Jr. - I ripped the announcement of the SCOTUS nomination from the RealAudio streamed video from the White House and put it in the article. I think that biographical articles should ideally have a snippet of the subject's voice.
  • Helen Gandy - I did the first spoken article version of this article, just to try it. You can hear my voice there.
  • Apostles' Creed - This article was originally written from an entirely Anglican POV. I made a major edit, inserting the missing chunck of the Latin original, correcting information about its current liturgical translations, and incorporating some history gleaned from the 1911 Catholic Encyclopedia.

Please, please critique my spoken article contributions. I think I really want to do more of these. --Mm35173 16:05, 9 August 2005 (UTC)
