Maggie contributed to Los Otros Dreamers (2014) and co-authored the introduction to the second edition of Lxs Otrxs Dreamers (2021).

She is co-founder and executive director of Otros Dreams en Acción (ODA) a grassroots organization founded in 2015 for and by deported and returned community in Mexico.

Maggie is the co-host of the first season of the podcast Pochas So What.
