The Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute (CRSI) was founded in 1924 as a non-profit, trade association of steel reinforcing bar (rebar) mills, distributors and fabricators. Based in Schaumburg, Illinois, CRSI develops standards for the production and use of steel reinforcement used in reinforced concrete and reinforced masonry construction.[1]
