New Belgica is a modern replica of the Belgian polar research barque-rigged steamship Belgica which is currently under construction.
Description
[edit]New Belgica will be a replica of the original Belgica used on the Belgian Antarctic Expedition of 1897-1907. Some modifications will be made to ensure that the ship conforms to modern safety regulations.
