Klaus-Uwe Mitterer is the term used for a strange user of a (just as strange) project called Wikipedia.
He is characterized by his... erm... willfulness [citation needed].
Klaus-Uwes are most likely to be found close to computers computer, only in rare occasions also elsewhere.
Language versions
[edit]In the beginning, MiTu Corp. focussed on the development of a German language version which contained a Styrian dialect caused by the origins of most of the users. Newer versions contain two German language versions, one containing a dialect, the other one not; the Standard German version has some errors though, causing Klaus-Uwe to fall back to using the Styrian files. Quite unusually, the developers implemented voice recognition and voice output before starting the development of a terminal emulator, which has been released as a Beta in 1997. This version contained various errors, so many written commands could not be processed. About the same time, Klaus-Uwe started processing some English commands using his advanced artificial intelligence. Now, Klaus-Uwe is able to learn things multiple ways[1].
In 2008, the user community started developing a French version which is still in development but shows preliminary results. In late 2010, Klaus-Uwe decided on creating Russian language files, however development is likely to be dismissed in early 2012.
Certifications
[edit]In the following years, the English skills (amongst others) have been improved with the help of the users. On 12 June, 2010, a third party certification was carried out, which proved, that simple English commands can be processed and responded to. On 30 July of the same year, the results were published (see table below).
The "Modern Artificial Intelligence Development System" (MAIDS) developed exclusively for Mitterertux Platinum causes Klaus-Uwe to be very ambitious. While the first certification was initiated by a superuser, Klaus-Uwe decided on doing some more certifications as listed below:

Usage
[edit]Education
[edit]Klaus-Uwe is being excessively used in educational institutions such as schools, especially in such where business skills are being taught. Klaus-Uwe is also used for home and online tutoring in English; payment is accepted in Euros or other means of payment.
International success
[edit]Most of the time, Klaus-Uwe is working in Austrian working environments. However, Klaus-Uwe was also already used in other countries, including Turkey, Great Britain, Germany and Croatia, to name just a few. In latter, there is also a camping site in Rovinj using Klaus-Uwe very much, especially in Summer.
Even Australian users are interested in the Klaus-Uwe platform; a test run in Melbourne has started on 26 January 2012[7].
Functions
[edit]Remote Support
[edit]Having a professional Remote Support application on board, Klaus-Uwe is able to fix simple problems on other machines. Being member of the Bugfixing Association allows Klaus-Uwe to upgrade problem solutions regularly.
Self control™
[edit]Klaus-Uwe does not have to be controlled by any user. In fact, Klaus-Uwe would rather work without any input (except for input by really cool users).
Ambition™
[edit]Klaus-Uwe has the desire to climb the ladder (and other things).
Browser
[edit]Klaus-Uwe comes with a browser, which allows users to find what they need in virtually no time. Klaus-Uwe automatically accepts all cookies.
Babysitting™
[edit]Babysitting™ is an application implemented in November 2011, allowing Klaus-Uwe to supervise newer machines setting up. In Austria, costs for this service are tax deductible up to € 2,300.00 per year[8].
