I'm a Canadian who lives in Korea, a Rust developer and a number of other things. Besides Wikipedia, you can connect with me on YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitter. I recently went through back issues of Cosmoglotta written in Occidental to try to fill out some of the activities of the Occidentalists beginning in 1922 with the first issues of Kosmoglott, later Cosmoglotta. Send me a message if you have any questions - I might have read enough of it to know the answer off the top of my head. I typed them up at the same time so progress was about 10~20 pages per day. The project went in the following order:
- Cosmoglotta B, 1941 to 1948: DONE (Note: still looking for Cosmoglotta B's final two years: 1949 and 1950. But in the meantime done.) - Cosmoglotta A, 1946 to 1950: DONE - Cosmoglotta B, 1935 to 1939 DONE (Note: nothing was produced in 1940 due to the war) - Cosmoglotta A, 1927 to 1939 DONE
For text search of what I've done so far, this wiki has been extremely useful: http://cosmoglotta.pbworks.com/w/page/130687236/FrontPage Feel free to try it out yourself. It has quickly become my go-to page for items I've decided later on to reference in the Interlingue page but have forgotten the location of. Update June 2019: Cosmoglotta is done, now working very leisurely on Helvetia (published 1928 to 1931 in Switzerland). December 2019: Have finished two or so years of Helvetia, many left to go. December 2020: We now have almost 50 books to type (obtained from the library in La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland where Alphone Matejka's stuff is stored, plus are getting Cosmoglottas from other years (1955, 1957, 1958, etc.) Here are some of the resources in pdf. I have also nominated the article on Interlingue as a Good Article. April 2022: it is now a Good Article and will be on the Did You Know section on May 1! |
