The New Furnace of the Adirondack Iron and Steel Company was a steel iron furnace located in Tahawus, New York (formerly the community of Adirondac, New York). The community and the furnace's remnants are off of Essex County Route 25 (Upper Works Road). The furnace is one of the few remains of the steel company, of which its kind was famous during the 19th Century.
