In the table below articles are listed that are currently present in WP:DAYS. The entries are an excerpt of data in this file and link to unreferenced and unnotable articles. Per row you see the DOY page in which the entry exists, the referenced article and some of its properties. Only January data is shown. I think that we can agree that all of them are absolute crap do not qualify for DOY-listing based on verifiability and/or notability (people). The challenge is to come up with a rule set to identify more of them. What should be the lower limit of article size? Are stubs allowed? Should size limits vary per century?
The entries in the table meet the conditions of the following rule set:

  • Content size of the article[1] < 1,500 characters
  • AND The number of references[2] = 0
