Author's note: A parody of Robert Frost's Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.
Stopping by Wireless Cafés on a Work Day
Whose comp this is I think I know.
Its type is called a laptop though;
It will not mind me charging here
To watch its small LED glow.
My IBM must think it queer
To start without an outlet near
Between the plug and 'lectron lake
The darkest evening of the year.
It gives its soundcard bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy fan and speaker flake.
The drives are lovely, large and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And forums to see before I sleep,
And forums to see before I sleep.
