Sonnet 15
Sometimes I dream about being with you,
Warmed by the fire, your soft arms around mine,
Sweetly whispering the way that you do,
And your deep eyes with their radiant shine.
The orange glow from the fireplace bright
Coupled with the love we'd both have to share
Could prevail even through the coldest night
And leave only us and our hearts so rare.
We'd read a book, perhaps cocoa would fill
Our cabin's nighttime activities there.
Yes, that's what I've dreamt and what I dream still,
If these feelings were more than just the air.
But you have found your love, so here I'll be,
In this lonely home, just the fire and me.
