User:Mike Cline/USCAN Working Group Drafts/Open Tasks/Initial Board
Open tasks for the initial board of WMEF-USCA.
- Initial board members: please sign up for one or multiple tasks!
- Ideally, for efficiency's sake, each task should have only 1 or 2 initial board members assigned to it. The initial board members will take the lead on the task, and circulate the results/products of the task to the rest of the initial board for approval.
Work with lawyer on the legal incorporation of WMEF-USCA (1 board member only)
[edit]The Wikimedia Foundation will fund an attorney specialized in nonprofit incorporation. The attorney can draft all the necessary legal documents for incorporation, pending regular consultation and communication with one member of the WMEF-USCA initial board (the attorney has specified that he would prefer to have only ONE contact person from the initial board's side). This board member serves as the spokesperson for the whole board in front of the lawyer, and will also communicate any important, relevant legal knowledge to the rest of the board. This board member should be concise in communication, reliable, and able to respond to inquiries quickly.
