Jorge Sebastian Pop Chocoj (Born October 21, 2005) known professionally as Farruko Pop was a Guatemalan singer and social media influencer who rose to fame on the Tik Tok platform. He was reported missing on May 20th, 2024 by family. On May 25th, 2024, with use of surveillance footage, Guatemalan authorities found the artist strangled to death with a bullet wound in his back, and the number 18 carved on his arm and leg. The area in which he was found to be murdered in Guatemala City was rampant with gang activity, and authorities attributed his death to gang crime committed by the 18th street gang.
