Maura Johnston
Maura Johnston is a writer and editor living in New York. She was a founding editor of the music blog Idolator[1] and is the pop critic for NPR's "Weekend All Things Considered." Her writing has appeared in The Village Voice, Gawker, Deadspin, Blender, The Awl, and the Philadelphia City Paper, and she is a frequent guest on WNYC Radio's "Soundcheck." Her Idolator blog post on Kanye West interrupting Taylor Swift at the 2009 VMA Awards[2] appears in the Best Music Writing 2010 anthology [3]
