Hamid Messdaghi (December 24, 1944 - September 29, 2010) was an Iranian TV producer, director, filmmaker, cameraman and the owner of Cyrus Productions in Los Gatos, California. He is best known for his 1972 movie Tajavoz and a series of acclaimed short films focusing on humanity with some critical of the political circumstances in Iran.
Early life and education
[edit]Messdaghi was born December 24, 1944 in Tehran (Iran) to an Iranian father and a Georgian-Armenian mother. His father Hussainali Mesdaghi was active in the trade and export of oil.
