Maurizio Bielto was a Italian footballer who played for Lazio, Roma, AC Milan, Real Sociedad, Altrincham FC & Farsley Celtic.

Bielto was a huge success in Italy with a career spanning 35 years until he left the San Siro (AC Milan) to join Altrincham FC.

Bielto won Serie A 12 times in his career but won no domestic cup competitions.

After Joinjng Altrincham FC he was a huge hit with supporters and pundits alike. At the age of 61, Mauritizo was running rings round everyone in the league scoring 31 goals in his first season along with 22 assists.

Locally they have named a sandwich after him which consists of BACON LETTUCE TOMATO ONION (BLTO)

Plans have been submitted to local council to erect a statue outside the Altrincham stadium.

Bielto had a wife called Sandra and 12 children.
