Eric Maisel is an American teacher, atheist, and coach. He is perhaps most famous for his two books The Van Gogh’s Blues (2002) and the The Atheist’s Way (2009) . Eric Maisel, Ph.D., is the author of more than 30 books and is widely regarded as America’s foremost creativity coach[1]. He trains creativity coaches nationally and internationally and provides core trainings for the Creativity Coaching Association.

Biography

Eric Maisel was born in the Bronx, and grew up in Brooklyn. Dr. Maisel is a columnist for Art Calendar magazine and a featured contributor towholeliving.com. His books include "Coaching the Artist Within," "Creative Recovery," "Fearless Creating," "The Van Gogh Blues" and many others. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his family. Maisel is a featured contributor to Whole Living, The Huffington Post, Art Bistro, and Art Calendar Magazine [2].
