Hi. This account is a legitimate sockpuppet of an established Wikipedian. I am using this account to make edits from public IP addresses (mostly college) where there is a danger that somebody may be able to obtain my password and thus compromise my account. This is a legitamate use for an alternative account, as set out in Wikipedia's Sock Puppetry policy. I am not publicising the identity of the master account at the moment, as I do not wish to allow personal disputes (ie. people I know hurling abuse at me when they see me editing on public access computers) to affect it. I am happy to provide information about my master account to administrators, if they have a valid reason for asking. If an administrator should need to ask, then they can contact me by e-mail. Please can they also notify me of this on my talk page in order to confirm that it is actually them asking. I would also request that they agree not to publicise that information either.
