New article name is Laraine Stephens
Laraine Stephens (July 24, 1941 - ). Born Laraine Evelyn Stine in Oakland, CA, she appeared in movies and television from the 1960s through the 1980s. She studied opera and foreign languages at UCLA.
During the 1960s, she and her husband, television producer David Gerber, became co-owners of Murphys Historic Hotel in Murphys, California. They also bought an estate close to the hotel in a valley that was suitable for growing grapes for wine. She studied wine making at the University of California at Davis and created Laraine Winery. Their first wine was released in 1993. Laraine Winery has received numerous awards for its wines.
She was married for 39 years to Gerber until his death on January 2, 2010 and she is his only survivor.
