Lars Arne Nilsen (born 6 April 1964) is a Norwegian former footballer who is head coach at Hødd. He played for Sogndal in the top flight in First Division.
Hailing from Sotra outside Bergen,[1] Nilsen were playing for Harstad at the second tier in 1985 while serving in the military in Harstad.[2]
Like the rest of his family, Nilsen is supporting Brann, and his brother Helge has been working in the coaching staff of Brann's reserve team.[1] Nilsen is the father of the footballer Sivert Heltne Nilsen who were playing for Hødd in the 2012 Norwegian Football Cup Final.
