Origin of Username
[edit]MenthaLongifolia's username is derived from a plant of the genus Mentha, commonly known as Horse Mint (M. Longifolia). This username is a changed version of the user's other common usernames: Mint and MenthaAquatica. The username was edited due to the user's other common usernames having already been associated with Wikipedia users who had claimed them prior to when MenthaLongifolia created their account.
The usernames that MenthaLongifolia commonly use, Mint and MenthaAquatica, both bare a similar origin to the name MenthaLongifolia, deriving from names of plants within the genus Mentha, Mint being the direct common English name of the genus, and MenthaAquatica coming from the plant Water Mint (M. [edit]Baxter was a male Great Dane with a mostly black coat that was owned by MenthaLongifolia's parents prior to their birth, and was owned throughout MenthaLongifolia's early life. Baxter was a large dog, a trait of the Great Dane breed of dog, reaching an estimated height (from the ground to his withers) of 4.5ft (1.3716m). In contrast to his size, Baxter was described as gentile and kind, Baxter was even know to attempt to sit in the laps of his owners, regardless of his large size. Baxter's exact date of birth is unknown though he was at least older than MenthaLongifolia making him no younger than five years of age at the time of his death. In the summer of 2007 Baxter passed away while MenthaLongifolia and their family were away on a trip to Disney World, Baxter passed in his sleep of old age.
