Charles F. Mudie ( -1958) was an Australian impressionist painter, noted for his mountain and coastal scenes who was active betwen 1904 and 1934.[1][2][3] Mudie attended the Bairnsdale School of Mines[4] and in 1905 he was conducting classes at the Camperdown mechanics' insitute.[5] He later became the director of the Nhill Technical School (1907-1913 )[6], art master at Beechworth Technical School(1913- )[7] and senior art master (1916-1944) of Footscray Technical College.[8][9] Lillian Ann Mudie died in 1937.[10]
