"Melanchthon" is not -- in this case -- the 16^th century German Protestant reformer and Lutheran lay theologian, but rather Kurt Bodling, now a resident of Pennsylvania, USA. He officially joined up and created a Wikipersonality on 29 July 2005, although he had been anonymously making minor edits to articles for 3 or 4 years before that. Most of his recent edits have been adding lists of 'works published' to biographical articles about novelists and poets from around the world. His main resource for this is the online catalog of the Library of Congress. He also does proofreading from time to time.
