Tinystep
Tinystep is an online parenting social network headquartered in Bengaluru, India. The app was launched in 2015, by Suhail Abidi, a Stanford graduate.
After logging in to the app, the users choose their profile as a mother of father, and complete their child profile details. Tinystep enables parents to connect with other parents who share their baby's birth month instantly by the method of autogrouping. There is a forum for all parenting related queries, events to organise meetups and play dates, and posts to share baby pictures and related content.
History
[edit]In january 2016, Tinystep raised an undisclosed amount in its seed round from Flipkart, the Indian e-commerce giant.
Mobile application and website
[edit]Tinystep is currently present in the Google Play Store with 10000+ downloads and a rating of 4.8. The website has a preview of the app comprising the forum. It has an alexa ranking of 8913 in India as of Feb 2016.
