Megan Lapeyrouse (born October 1, 2000), better known by her stage name: MeggyLapz, is an American singer, songwriter, and social media personality. She is mostly known for her fast rise on TikTok and her two most popular songs Darker Days, and Back to My Past.

Early Life

Megan was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. She always took an interest in the preforming arts and production. During her high school years at Dr. Phillips High School, she started working on productions behind the camera and she absolutely loved it! She was able to enjoy her time behind the camera and be a part of many film festivals. But it wasn't long before she realized that her true passion was to be in front of it. Her dad was a singer and had a small band when she was younger, and this inspired Megan to pursue music! Once she started dabbling in the art she completely fell in love with it!

Music Career

Megan started her music career as a rapper in early 2015. She did this for a few years, but she quickly started to realize that she didn't want to limit her music to one genre. In 2019, her career took a turn when she re-branded and began to create more of a Pop-Rock style of music. Since this re-brand, she has released multiple singles including Darker Days, Back to My Past, Can't Sleep, and is currently working on her newest single, Lighter.

Social Media

Megan has also taken much joy in growing her social media platforms, especially her TikTok. Since she loves to be in front and behind the camera, Social Media creates the perfect outlet for her to create her content but also be in it as well. Megan has been able to amass a following of 39K followers on TikTok and continues to hop on trends and have fun with her followers.
