Veronica Nia Dorian Becnel (1949- November 10, 1990) was an American activist, preservationist and academic.
Biography
[edit]Becnel started as the director of preservation studies at the University of Houston in the college of Architecture in 1985 and worked there until her sudden death.[1]
Becnel died at St. Joseph's Hospital in Houston on November 10, 1990, after a stroke.[1] She was buried in Paradise Cemetery in Acres Homes.[1]
