Shamsa Saleh is an activist for women's gender equality in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Saleh is currently the CEO of the Dubai Women Establishment (DWE),[1] which works to promote women's participation in the workplace and the government.[2]
Biography
[edit]Saleh often stresses the importance of having balance between her private and work life and also that women are very important to the economy of the UAE.[2] She has said, "As an Arab woman, I am a mother and a CEO, not a mother or CEO" and that the UAE has helped women balance work and family.[3]
