Nancy O'Connor is an installation artist and photographer. She is the daughter of Madeline O'Connor.[1]
O'Connor studied photojournalism in college, but felt that it didn't allow her to express the full story of her subject matter.[2] By combining different types of media, including artifacts from the subjects she photographs, O'Connor feels that a greater sense of storytelling has been achieved.[2]
Quotes
[edit]"Paradoxically, the camera serves as a protective shield and as a barrier when one enters little-known territories."[2]
