Jacqueline "Jackie" Arenstein (6 June 1921 - ) was a South African journalist, legal advisor and activist.
Biography
[edit]In 1956, she was charged with treason.[1] After Arenstein was released from prison, she was subject to house arrest with her husband in Durban.[2]
Arenstein's husband died in 1996.[2]
In retirement, she told the Pretoria News that her only regret was that she never continued working on her art, "Because that is where I could have achieved perfection."[2]
