News Paper News paper is a paper which gives us the news both home and abroad. Nowadays it has become our daily friends. We can not go without news paper even for a day. It is a store house of knowledge. By reading news paper we can enrich our general knowledge.

The history of news paper is very old. It was first published in China. Bangla-news paper was first published in 1818 in Sreerampur.

There are many kinds of news paper. They daily, weekly, monthly news paper. Most of the people in the world read the daily news paper as the daily news paper gives us the current and fresh news among us. So it is called the present mirror of the world. Some name of famous news paper in Bangladesh is The Prothom Alo, The Noyadiganto, The Kalerkanto, The manob-jomin, The Bangladesh Protidin, The Amardesh and so on. Again the name of English news paper is The Star, The Sun, The Nation and so on.

The importance of news paper is very more. Today news paper has made the world very small. By reading news paper we can know about all over the world costing few minutes. News paper also plays a great role in the sphere of education, trade & commerce , entertainment, sports and so on. Above all, news paper is a store house of knowledge.

News paper does not always bear the real news among us. Sometimes it brings false news and creates quarrel in society or country. So we must use it only for good purpose.

We are always enjoying the benefit of news paper though it has little bad side. This is why, one should make the habit reading news paper daily. If we are able to use it only for good purpose , it will be blessing for us all. About Journey Bangladesh is a dear child of nature. There are many kinds of journeys in our country. A journey by bus is one of the most of them. It is very safe and pleasure. Everybody likes this journey. I also like it very much. It is my favorite journey.

In the last summer we got a lot of time. Then our college was closed. We had nothing to do. So I and some of my friends arranged a journey. It was journey by bus. We also fixed the date and venue.

We reached the bus stand about half an hour before the departure of the bus. We took our necessary things with us. We started our journey at 7.00 am from Bogra. Our destination was Shat Gumbuj Mosque. It is a historical place in Bangladesh.

The bus was passing through a big high road. At first it was running slowly. But after few time it began to run fast. The bus was running and we were singing in chorus. We saw many interesting things from the bus such as schools, colleges, houses, crops fields on the both sides of the road. We also saw that the farmers were working in the field and some of them were smoking standing in the field. Some were taking rest too. All things seemed running back. All sceneries were very charming to us.

We reached our destination at 1.00 pm. We also enjoyed the many things as it is the sigh of ancient time. Here was ended our journey. Then we started for home. Though it was a short journey, it was very enjoyable, charming, educative to us.

My aim in life/ My favorite hobby Every man has aim for his future. An aimless life is like a boat without a rudder. A man can not shine in life and enjoy his life without it. So one should have a fixed aim in life. If one fails to select his fixed aim , he must suffer much in his life.

Now I am a student. I read in class ten. I have selected my aim. It is very simple but honorable to all. I want to be a teacher. It is noble profession to me. My aim is to spread my knowledge among the illiterate and the deprive. Though it does not help me to earn a lot of money, it will give me real pleasure and amusement. I want to develop our nation. An educated citizen can play a great role to build up a developed nation. He may be a nation builder of a country or a society.

Every man has a right to educate. But the poor can not do it. I want to serve the nation by teaching properly. Bangladesh is a small and poor country. But it has a huge population. Most of the people are illiterate and poor. They do not get the facilities of education. I want to give them the light of education.

In order to fulfill my aim I must acquire some degrees. So my preparation is well too. After my SSC and HSC , I will take my honor’s and masters degree. Then I will career life.

There are some reasons after my aim. To serve the country men is main of them. I pray to Allah for my success of my life. I hope I will be successful in my future life by the grace of Allah.

To select an aim is a technical fact. A student should bear in mind that he must be careful to select his aim. As a good aim helps him to shine in life.

Any science The modern science is called the age of science and technology. At present every step of our life we can not go without science. The whole world is controlled by the touch of finger. The science has already given us many wonderful gifts. Computer is one of them. Now a days it has become our daily friends.

The role of computer in our life can not be ignored. It has made our life easy and comfortable. It has so much improved the means of communication that the world appears nearer today than in the past. It has brought the world to our door. One can know about all over the world by costing few times. Now it is a symbol of our wealth and culture. Again it plays a great role in the field of education and agriculture. The improvement of education and medical fully depends of computer. With the help of computer the world become a global village and borderless area. Above all our modern life is difficult without touch of computer.

Computer does not bring only welfare for us. It has brought curse with blessing. Now crime sectors has broaden and human life is going to face with great difficulties. For the abuse of it our sufferings beggar description.

Actually computer is a bliss for our modern civilization. The country has been reached of the economical top position which is advanced in science and technology. So we should use it only for good purpose. All classes of people must be educated and careful. Otherwise our life may be destroyed or occur some unwelcome things. If we use it properly , we can then feel better, work better and life better. Story 1.Who is to bell the cat?

Once there was an old house. It was full of mice. The mice harmed a lot. So the owner of the house bought a cat. The cat was a good hunter. It began to kill mice every night. The mice faced with a great problem. They want to save themselves. They called a meeting. All mice was present in the meeting. They discussed about the problem. They tried to make ways but failed. Suddenly, a young mouse stood up and suggested to tie a bell around the neck of the cat. All mice thanked him and began to dance. But and old mouse stood up and said,`` who are ready to tie the bell around the neck of the cat.” All mice became silent and tried to run away quickly. As that work was very deadly for them.

2.A thirsty crow

Once there was a crow. One day he was very thirsty. He flew one place to another in search of water. But he did not find a little drop of any where. He became tired. But he was not hopeless. At last he saw a jar under a tree. He flew down and sat on the jar. But there was little water. He could not drink it. Suddenly he got an idea. He saw some pebbles near the jar. He took the pebbles and dropped them into the jar one by one. The pebbles were going down and the water was coming up gradually. When the water came up the mouth of the jar , he drank the water.

3. Bayazid and his mother

One day Bayazid was studying. It was mid night. His ailing mother slept her bed. It was near to Bayazid. Suddenly she woke up and wanted a glass of water. Bayazid stopped his study. He saw the jar. But there was not any water. Then he went out and searched water. He went the fountain and took a jar of water. He returned home. When he went to his mother, he noticed that his mother had slept again. He did not call his mother. He stood beside his mother holding the glass. In morning his mother woke up and saw her son. She embrace her mother and prayed to Allah for his son.

4.A farmer and his sons

Once there was a farmer. He had four sons. He was rich. But he was unhappy. The sons used to quarreled among them. One day he hit upon a plan. He ordered his sons to bring four sticks. The sons brought four sticks. Then he ordered them to bind the sticks in a bundle. The sons bound the sticks. Then the farmer told them to break the bundle. The sons tried hard to break the bundle one by one. When the sons failed to break the bundle easily, the farmer told them to untie the bundle. Then he told them to break the sticks one by one. That time the sons could be able to break the sticks easily. After that the sons could understood their mistakes.

5.A farmer and a wonderful goose

Once there was a farmer. He was poor. But he was greedy. He had a goose. But it was a magic goose. It used to lay a gold egg every night. Selling the eggs he was becoming rich day by day. As he was greedy, he was not satisfied to get a gold egg every night. He wanted to be rich over night. So he decided to cut the belly of the goose. He told it to his wife. His wife was not so greedy. He forbade him. But he did not grant it. One day he took a knife. It was very sharp. He cut the belly. But he did not find any egg there. So he lost his magic goose forever and he was becoming poor again.

6.A lion and a mouse

Once there was a lion in a forest. There also lived a mouse. One day the lion was sleeping in the jungle. At that time the mouse was playing there. Suddenly the mouse climbed up the lion’s body. The lion woke up and caught the mouse. The mouse got afraid and prayed to lion for its mistake. The mouse also said to help him in future. The lion laughed at him and left the place. After few days the lion was walking through the forest. Suddenly he was caught by a hunter net. He tried to get out but failed. He was only crying and crying loudly. The mouse heard the crying sound and rushed to help him. When he reached there, he saw the lion crying in the net. The mouse jump up the trap and began to cut the net. He cut the net and saved the lion. The lion thanked the mouse and left the place quickly.

7.Two friends and a bear Once there was two friends in a village. One day they were walking through a forest. They were talking about there loves. Suddenly they saw a bear coming to them. Both of them got afraid. One of them knew how to climb up a tree. He did not think of his friend. But another did not know how to climb up a tree. But he was clever. He knew that the bear does not eat dead person. So he lay down and stopped his breath like a dead person. The bear came to him and tested his body. But he thought him as a dead man and left to place. When the bear left the place, the first friend came down. Then he asked his friend what the bear advised him. In reply the second friend said that the bear advised to avoid a false friend.

8.A wood cutter and a fairy

Once there was a wood cutter in a village. He was poor. But he was honest and active. He used to cut wood in the forest. One day he was cutting a branch of a tree. The tree was on the bank of a pond. The pond was very big and deep. Suddenly the axe of his hand fell into the pond. He did not know how to swim or dive in the pond. So he was unhappy and sat under the tree. Suddenly he saw a fairy standing before him. The fairy asked him why he was sad. In reply he said that he lost his axe. Hearing that she showed him and a gold axe. But he refused to take it. Then she saw him a silver axe. Again he refused and said that his axe was made of iron. Finally she showed him an iron axe that was old. To see the axe he became happy. The fairy got pity and gave him the axe with gold and silver axes for honest.

9.A shepherd boy and the villagers

Once there was a cow boy in a village. He was a small boy but a liar. He used to feed his cows in the field. As he was liar , he used to make fun with villagers telling a lie.. He cried out and said “ Tiger, Tiger.’’ When the villagers come to help him, he laughed at them. So the villagers did not believe him. One day a tiger really appeared there and attacked him. He cried more and more. But the villagers did not go to help him. At last he tiger killed him.

10.A hare and a tortoise

Once there was a hare in a forest. There lived a tortoise too. One day the hare met with the tortoise. The tortoise was walking very slowly. So the hare laughed at him. The hare invited to run a race. The tortoise accepted the offer. The also fixed the date and venue. On the fixed day the began to run. The hare ran very speed but the tortoise was very slow. On the mid way the hare stopped and took a shelter to take rest. But he got a sleep fast. On the other hand the tortoise did not stop any where. When the tortoise reached the goal bar, the hare began to run fast. But he was very late. So he failed in the race.
