I am Dr. Matthew L. Becker, professor of theology at Valparaiso University.

My M.A. and Ph.D. degrees are from the University of Chicago.

My M.Div. degree is from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Mo.

My B.A. degree is from Concordia University, Portland, Ore.

My areas of expertise are modern German-Lutheran systematic theology and the Greek New Testament.

I am fluent in German.
