[edit]The first Runner-Up of each edition of Manhunt International is the second placer behind the contestant who is selected as Manhunt International (first placer). In some cases, he shall take over the title of Manhunt International, if:
- The outgoing titleholder cannot fulfill his duties. This could happen and may result to resignation, giving up the title, or dethronement.
- The titleholder is dethroned due to deeds that violate the organization's policies.
The second place finisher being designated as 1st runner-up has been awarded twenty-one times (1993–2022).
