From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I’m Mattia Bosatelli, student number 1045014.During this experience on Wikipedia I have contributed to some articles linked to my territory. I ‘ve edited some pre-existing articles about: Capriate San Gervasio, my town, Crespi d’Adda a World heritage site very close to Capriate and about Stracciatella ice cream that I consider one of the most important immaterial heritage of the province of Bergamo and known all over the world.

1.Description of the Contribution:

Concerning Capriate San Gervasio I have edited two paragraphs: one linked to the history of the town and one linked to the places and the sightseeings making a translation of the Wikipedia page in Italian. For Crespi d’Adda I ‘ve contacted directly the local Dmo for some materials like some photos e some books that I’ve used in order to edit the article. In this article I have written about monuments and places of interest that are very iconic for the village of Crespi using a book called Crespi d’Adda il Villaggio ideale del lavoro written by Luigi Cortesi that talks about the history of this small industrial village starting from the creation. In this article I have updated also some photos, always in the same paragraph about the Parish church, the Castle and workers’ houses. The experience with the local Dmo has been very positive for the book because I have gone directly to the seat to take the book but not very positive as regard as the photos because they have forgotten to send me them. For the last article I have updated some information about Stracciatella that I consider an important immaterial heritage of the city of Bergamo known all over the world. I edited two paragraphs about the origin of the flavour.

5.Involvement of Stakeholders and Cooperation:

During this project I have cooperated with other users: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Frabckpckr96 and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Mademoiselle20 for what concerning their articles regarding:

-Focaccia

-Piazza de Ferrari

-Boccadasse

-Cartura

We have reviewed the reliability of the sources and references used by our partners and we have checked the grammar and syntaxis of each other works.

I have cooperated also with the local Dmo of Crespi D’adda as regard as the information to insert in the article. It has provided me a book about the history of the village and they have promised me also some photos but I haven’t received anything even after a lot of mails. My experience of cooperation with a real stakeholder, obviously online through mail due to Covid-19 restrictions, has been very positive and also the cooperation with other users has been very useful.
