Optimize Capital Markets is Canada’s first internet-based business financing company. The company operates optimizecapitalmarkets.com, an online website where businesses can request to get financing from potential accredited investors and institutions. Optimize Capital Markets was founded in June 2009 by Matthew McGrath, a former vice-president of private client services at the Royal Bank of Canada. Optimize Capital Markets is located in Toronto, Ontario and launched in September 2010.[2] Optimize Capital Markets connects investors with entrepreneurs providing financing from $500,000 to over $100 million. P2P Financial provides four different types of investment opportunities: Corporate Bonds, Limited Partnerships or Trust Units, Preferred Share Offerings, and Equity Offerings.
