Arts Centre Washington is a multi functional arts centre located in Fatfield, Washington, Tyne and Wear.[1]
North Biddick Farm was converted into the art centre in 1972 by Washington Development Forum. The centre was originally called Biddick Farm Art Centre. The centre is now owned and mansged by Sunderland City Council.[2]
The buliding houses a theatre, gallery, recording studio, artist's studios and a cafe/bar.
The arts centre is also home to the Davy Lamp Folk club.[3] Winner of BBC Radio 2 folk club of the year in 2001
