Original research in demographic data
Hi, Example, and thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia. The last table column in the article contained "comparable country" info which was a synthesis of data from multiple sources that doesn't exist in any one source; this amounts to prohibited original research. In particular, this column makes assertions about the similarity in HDI between a region and the HDI of another country in the world. However, no citation actually verifies this comparison. This table column has been removed from the table for now, but don't worry, it is preserved in the history and can be restored along with a citation. Please be sure that all information you add to Wikipedia articles is verifiable and can be backed up with a citation to a reliable source. For more information, see Wikipedia:No original research#Synthesis of published material. Thanks, ~~~~
