Usage

[edit]

This template is used to create conditional headers, typically destined for subpages of talk or project pages which may benefit from subheadings and a table of contents, but where the transcluding page should generate only look-alike headers ("fake headers") without creating ToC entries for them.

Parameters

[edit]

Two parameters are available, one required, and one optional:

  • |1= section title (required, no default; alias |section= )
  • |level= is the level number: valid values are 1 through 6. (alias: |sub=; default is 2: ;the equivalent of a == Main heading ==. |level=1 is equivalent to page title.)
