Albert Einstein (14 March 1879 – 18 April 1955) was a German-born theoretical physicist who developed the theory of relativity, one of the two pillars of modern physics (alongside quantum mechanics). {The first sentence defines the topic of the article, and distinguishes it from other articles. For biographies, this is normally the name by which someone is known, so, "Bob Dylan", not "Robert Zimmerman".}
This is the LEAD (see WP:LEAD), and depending how long the article is, you can place one to six paragraphs here. These paragraphs should SUMMARIZE the content of the article, so in a mature article, there will be nothing here in the lead, that isn't already in the body of the article (the part after the first section header) below. When starting a brand new article, the LEAD may be the whole article, other than the "bottom matter" or appendixes at the end, like "See also", "Further reading", and other bottom matter sections.

[edit]"Works" are items written *by* the person (the word "Bibliography" can be ambivalent in Wikipedia, and is discouraged as a section header. This can just be a bullet list of books (articles, essays, etc.), and using any consistent standard format, like MLA having basic info like: (Author last, first; Title; Date; Publisher; Location) WP has templates to make this easier:
