- I am a lapsed Catholic.
- I grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, but was born much further south of the Mason-Dixon line, in Nashville, Tennessee.
- I love playing my old Gretsch Guitar. It's a 1972 Chet Atkins Tennessean.
- My Daddy's first name rhymes with his last name. It is not hope.
- Memphis is home now. I'm like my guitar, a Tennessean, but the main Memphis paper is The Commercial Appeal. Nashville's is The Tennessean.
- My trip to Los Angeles to document the places and locations in Blade Runner was a smashing success.
