History
The Australasian Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetics (AADFA) is a professional organisation of Dentists, dedicated to advancing the art and science of Aesthetic Dentistry for the benefit of both dental practitioners and the public. AADFA was established in 2009 by renowned Australian Dentist, Dr Myles Holt, an expert and global educator in the field of facial injectables such as Botox and Dermal Fillers.
AADFA pioneered the use of Botox, Dermal Fillers and Skin Rejuvenation treatments throughout Australian Dental practices and now has operations in 8 countries including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Greece, and countries of the Middle East and across South-East Asia.
AADFA has a voluntary member base of over 1850 registered dental practitioners. AADFA is the only organisation of its kind in Australasia and its' stated aims include:
• The promotion of dental and facial aesthetic excellence through comprehensive education;
• The provision of clinical and administrative support to assist members in maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct, clinical excellence and responsible patient care;
• Being strong advocates and leaders for change and growth within the dental profession;
• Defending the interests and future of the profession and the rights of members.
