The Shimao Wonderland Intercontinental article on Wikipedia is now out of date and needs to be superceded or edited with new correct information. Atkins are no longer involved in the project and the reference to their webpages and other information on the internet is now not correct. Unfortunately I am not familiar with the editing procedures and also my reference does not seem to be valid as it is from my personal involvement in the project. However the correct information is: Martjo812 (talk) 03:40, 20 May 2014 (UTC) Total GFAof the Hotel is 47,000m2 The number of floors is 2 above ground level and 15 under the ground level. Two levels are under water, one of which is Mechanical Plant level.

The team mentioned in the article referred to the Concept and Scheme Design. In the current contract with the developer Shimao with Quarry Associates Ltd. to complete the design and to oversee the building construction the only original team member is Martin Jochman - the original concept designer and Design Team Leader.

There is no intention from the client to use geothermal extraction. All sustainability content is passive and there are no renewable energy sources intended any more.
