Participation and membership
[edit]OIML has two categories of membership; "Member State" and "Corresponding Member". The Member State category is for countries or economies that are prepared to finance and actively participate in the work of OIML. The Corresponding Member category is for countries or economies that want to be informed of OIML activities, but which cannot, or prefer not to, be a Member State.[1] As of 4 February 2013[update] a total of 57 states are Member States and 64 are Corresponding Members.[2]
