AudienceProject is a marketing technology company based in Copenhagen, Denmark and operational worldwide with the strongest foothold in the Nordics. Through a variety of products the company’s statement is to make the complex world of online audiences simpler and more effective.

History

AudienceProject was founded in 2010 under the name UserReport by a group of market researchers from the Nordic research company Epinion. The founders believed that a fundamental reconsideration of what it takes to deliver value-adding research in the digital age was required.[1]

Shortly after the company was founded, the first version of the company’s free site audience intelligence tool UserReport was released. In 2012, after launching research and audience panels in the Nordics, AudienceProject released its campaign audience measurement system AudienceReport, and its panel based brand lift product site EngagementReport.[2]

In 2014, the company launched its Key Value Store called AudienceData Service.

In 2015, amidst new releases such as WebTV-TV integration of measurements[3], the company was rebranded as AudienceProject.[4]

In 2016 AudienceProject was chosen by the official Swedish online measurement, KIA-index, to provide technology for the measurement of basic socio-demographics.[5] Throughout 2016 AudiencePrioject released several online studies documenting online behaviour which was published by eMarketer and Nordic news media.[6][7][8]

UserReport

UserReport is a product consisting of two different tools – a survey and a feedback forum. Together, they enable clients to collect knowledge about their website audience. The survey can be used for measuring website usability and gathering visitor demographics. The feedback forum lets clients gather ideas and feedback directly from their visitors.

AudienceReport

AudienceReport is a campaign management system presenting clients with key numbers in regards to a multitude of demographics such as age, gender, income and occupation. This enables clients to manage, monitor and optimize campaigns in real time.

EngagementReport

EngagementReport is a campaign performance report using knowledge gathered in AudienceReport to set up studies about the effects of campaigns. The studies give clients information about brand awareness, brand lifts and ad recall based on respondents exposed and not exposed to the campaign.

AudienceData

AudienceData is a targeting tool based on a cookie pool making it possible to target and optimize digital campaigns on different demographic characteristics.[9][10] Clients can target in real time on any device without compromising privacy. AudienceData interfaces with relevant ad servers, CMS and programmatic technologies.[11]
